For applicants from other countries, the following table provides indicative equivalences based on their national high school grading systems. These are approximate and intended for guidance; the final evaluation is made by the University based on official documentation.
These equivalences are indicative and for guidance only. The University of Bucharest evaluates all applications based on official documents submitted by the candidate and reserves the right to determine the final equivalence of grades from foreign systems.

Notes for ApplicantsExamples of Approximate equivalences

For percentage-based systems, ~70% generally corresponds to Romanian 7/10.

For letter-grade systems, B or “Good” is usually considered equivalent.

For numeric scales different from 0–10, equivalence is
calculated approximately via percentage of the maximum grade.
