Admission Process for Diplomatic Staff

ACADEMIC INFORMATION

Step 1: Contact Your Embassy in Romania

First, contact your country’s Embassy in Romania and formally express your intention to study at the University of Bucharest.

The Embassy will help you obtain approval from the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).

Step 2: Obtain Approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

After your Embassy submits the request, wait for the official MFA approval.

Once you receive it, move to the next step.

Step 3: Send Your Documents to the International Relations Office

Step 4: Faculty Evaluation

After receiving your file, the International Relations Office sends your documents to the faculty.

The faculty will evaluate your application either:

  • through an interview, or
  • based on your application file.

The faculty then decides whether to approve your application.

Step 5: Apply for the Letter of Acceptance

Once you have:

  • MFA approval, and
  • Faculty approval,

you must apply directly to the Romanian Ministry of Education for the official Letter of Acceptance.


IMPORTANT

Do not leave original documents at the Ministry.
Prepare copies if needed.

Step 6: Receive Your Letter of Acceptance

After the Ministry of Education processes your application, you will receive the official Letter of Acceptance.

Step 7: Schedule an Enrollment Appointment

After receiving the Letter of Acceptance, schedule an appointment with the International Relations Office and attend in person for enrollment.

Step 8: Bring Original Documents for Enrollment
