Your Enrolment Timeline
1. Book an Enrolment Appointment
Schedule an appointment with the International Relations Office using the booking system. Click here →
2. Prepare Your Original Documents
Bring all documents submitted during the admission process in original.
3. Visit the International Relations Office
Submit your documents and sign the Study Contract.
4. Complete Faculty Registration
Proceed to your faculty to complete your registration and receive your student documents.

Enrolment Documents
- Proof of Payment at University of Bucharest for the tuition fee
Identity Documents
- Birth Certificate (and certified translation, if applicable)
- International Passport (valid at least 6 months after day of enrolment)
- Proof of Permanent Residence in country of origin
- 4 photos (size: 3/4 cm)
Academic Documents
Applicable for Preparatory Year and Bachelor's Degree applicants:
- High School Diploma (and certified translation, if applicable)
- High School Transcript of Records (and certified translation, if applicable)
Applicable for Preparatory Year and Master's Degree applicants:
- High School Diploma (and certified translation, if applicable)
- High School Transcript of Records (and certified translation, if applicable)
- Bachelor's Degree Diploma (and certified translation, if applicable)
- Bachelor's Degree Transcript of Records (and certified translation, if applicable)
Applicable for Preparatory Year and PhD Degree applicants:

Medical Documents
- Medical Certificate confirming fitness for study (issued within the last 30 days prior enrolment)
Special Circumstances Documents
- Marriage Certificate/Court decision of name change (if there was a name change)
- Power of Attorney for minors from both parents (for underaged candidates)
- Documents issued in countries that are part of the Hague Convention must bear the Hague Apostille.
- Documents issued in countries that are not part of the Hague Convention must be superlegalized by the competent authorities.
All study documents that are not originally issued in Romanian, English, or French must be accompanied by an authorized translation and legalized by a public notary.
Documents originally issued in Romanian, English, or French do not require translation; however, any required legalization procedures remain mandatory. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in delays or the rejection of your enrolment file.

Complete the enrolment process
At your faculty:
Complete your academic registration
Receive your Student ID Card and your Public Transport Card (where applicable)
Obtain information about the academic year
Important Information
All documents submitted during the admission process must be presented in original at enrolment.
Failure to present the original documents may result in the impossibility of completing the enrolment process.
For candidates under age 18: Candidates under the age of 18 must be accompanied during enrolment by one or both parents. As minors cannot independently sign enrolment documents in Romania, the required parental authorisations must be provided. If a parent is unable to attend, a notarised power of attorney/declaration from the absent parent (or from both parents, where applicable) must be presented.
